Vintage Check

If you haven’t been living under a rock, hibernating already, or somehow missed the Autumn/Winter ‘new in’ clothes since August (did someone say Christmas?) you’ll know that all things tartan and check are go go go! Amidst so much of The Same Stuff, it’s nice to be able to turn to a vintage shop to find something maybe a little more ‘you’, and certainly unique. This oversized, smock-y dress from Brag Vintage makes me feel like I can eat everything I want and still be ‘trendy’-and automatically not trendy for having said that word- which is a great combo if you ask me!

This predominantly black outfit needed a little brightening, and you will have spotted this Brit-Stitch bag a few times on here before! With a new website and a pretty special customisable feature on there too, it’s time to officially introduce my little ‘milkman’ bag! For an extra £10, you can choose from a range of colours, pick your favourites, and decide which colour will go where on the bag! It’s a lot of fun and something to bear in mind over the coming months… (someone DID say Christmas). Finishing off a monochrome look with a little red lipstick was a must, and aside from deciding not to wear such a floaty dress and hat on the windiest of days, I think I’ve ‘done’ check okay! x

P.S. My mini-shoot with Warehouse went up today, as part of their #postcardsfromshoreditch project, and it features a very pretty winter coat, be warned!

Hat – Zara, Checked Shirtdress – Brag Vintage, Bag – c/o Brit-Stitch, Boots – Topshop
