A few weeks ago, as you may have seen on Kristabel, Olivia, Lucy and Carrie’s blogs, a super fun (and spontaneous for me) day in Brighton happened! It was my first time meeting Kristabel and Olivia, and I had the happiest day I’ve had in weeks! We ate burgers, bargained with the rain and eventually took the inevitable trip down Brighton Pier – always a slow walk for me, those cracks in the planks below really are scary! – and round to the beautiful Royal Pavillion and its’ gardens, to visit the Biba exhibition showing there.
I’m wearing my first Sugarhill Boutique purchase, a cream and black spot blouse, from the infamous outlet store in the lanes! If you ever visit Brighton, you cannot visit the lanes without checking this shop out, it’s in the last lanes, so when you think you’ve seen it all..you won’t leave without having bought something, at least that’s my experience every time! This skirt was a present and while I’ve got a similar American Apparel circle skirt, this one is much more comfortable, and a little bit longer so I feel more covered, with a nice texture on it that gives an outfit a bit more ‘something’!
… And if these photos look suspiciously better than my usual post it’s because they’re from Carrie’s camera! She very kindly stepped in when I was without a charged battery/charger for mine; thank you Carrie, and for taking my pictures too! xx
