Pont des Arts

What I Wore: Dress – c/o Desire (on sale!), Shoes – c/o Vagabond via Zalando, Bag – Vintage

Finally, the very last post from Paris! The three of us (mother, sister and me) decided we’d spend our Saturday evening in the nicest restaurant we could find, with a three-course meal and an outfit to match. Which explains the slightly fancier-than-usual dress and earrings (I never wear earrings) in this outfit post. I love the detail on the skirt of this Desire dress- a little skin peeking through the lace design makes even this straight-up-and-down dress ever so slightly risqué..!

And typically I took a few photos while out and about by Pont des Arts, the famous love lock bridge. It was more than humbling to walk across the bridge and try to get an idea of just how many locks were on it-  it’s beautiful to see love displayed in such a strikingly visual way. I have seen news stories about there being too many locks on the love lock bridge (eek!), so maybe it might not be the best place to show your love in the coming years, but as it stands, it’s wonderful to see people being so in love to solidify it in this way. Maybe next time we’ll declare our love on more solid ground though, eh? ; ). ‘Til next time Paris! x
