Owing to not having any particularly obvious “natural assets”- you know what I mean-, my go-to outfit is something that tends to flatter my legs, meaning short skirts and super-tight trousers are two huge musts in my wardrobe! I don’t have the best legs by any means, but making the most of them is something I always try to do. There’s definitely a plus about having a smaller chest too… I can get away with wearing just a top knowing the worst I’ll deal with is a bit of “side-boob” which, in my opinion, is the new cleavage anyway! Come rain or sunshine making the most of my pins has become a part of my outfit decisions, and luckily we’ve been blessed with a good bout of hot weather in England!
So with the sun shining bright it felt like the perfect opportunity to finally wear this traffic-light-orange skirt from ASOS while walking through the leafy suburbs near my house. Teamed with a barely-there crop top I almost didn’t feel the heat! I was also kindly gifted a pair of designer sunglasses by the Sunglasses Shop and finally own a black pair of Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses. Even better, they’re cat eye sunglasses, which always reminds me of Mad Men and ’60s fashion. And whenever I’m out with my mum it doesn’t take long before, seemingly on auto-pilot, we arrive at Costa for a little sit-down coffee in the sun. The perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. I hope the weather is as lovely wherever you are! x
