Lace In Paris

What I Wore: Lace Top – c/o Glamorous, Shorts – Beyond Retro, Bag – c/o New Look, Shoes – Bertie, Sunglasses – ASOS, Watch – Olivia Burton

Okay okay, so I’m not wearing delicate French lace, nor am I prancing around in a Parisian fairytale (with oven-baked baguettes everywhere, obviously) but I am wearing my new Glamorous lace top in Paris, that’s basically the same thing! …Maybe not, but it was the only thing I could bear to wear on our first day in Paris, which just so happened to be the hottest day of our trip! I visited for five days with my mother and sister last weekend, and have been in a cheese-induced lull ever since (for real).

Cream and white aren’t necessarily the best of friends when it comes to outfit combos, but with a barely-there top I didn’t think much of the off-tone white accessories, especially not since I’ve been using my handy backpack-style New Look bag daily for work. We spent the first day in Paris getting to know our neighbourhood better, and with it being located in the steep Abbesses district (where the Moulin Rouge and Sacré-Cœur are), everywhere you turned there were amazing views of the rest of Paris, like the lucky spot I found to take a breather and shoot a few outfit snaps!

Don’t forget, you can still enter my Jarlo giveaway, open til Friday 18th! x
