John Lewis Styling Shoot: 150th Anniversary

A change from my usual outfit post, I wanted to share some photos from an evening with John Lewis a few weeks ago, where I was invited (by the loveliest team of people ever) to celebrate their 150th anniversary with a styling shoot. This included some limited-edition pieces made especially for their anniversary by the likes of Levi’s, Alice Temperley, Mulberry and much more! You can read about the limited collection and 150th celebrations here.

Now, onto the clothes. In true Dunya form, I chose three completely different outfits that all were a little out of my comfort zone, but I’m so glad I styled each item the way I did! From white jeans (that took some wriggling getting in to) to a red floral midi and metallic pencil skirt, styling wasn’t so difficult when each rail of clothing had been filled with some of the nicest clothes I’d laid eyes on. And being a ‘shoes’ girl myself, I found the the hardest part of styling the clothes was picking the best shoes to go with them! You can check out the other bloggers involved (and a little clothes-fail confession from me) over on the Bloggers Edit page. Do you have a favourite outfit from the three pictured? I’d love to know if you do! x
