Clockwise from top left: 1 – Black dress – Nasty Gal, 2 – Gided mirror iPhone case – Caitlin Shearer, 3 – Mint boucle skirt – Topshop, 4 – Biscuits Dress (!!!!!!!!!!!!) – Caitlin Shearer, 5 – Wine patent shoes – Urban Outfitters (Cheap Monday), 6 – Scalloped hem lace coat – Topshop, 7 – Dog print tee – Vintage Style Me, 8 – Red satchel – Cambridge Satchel Company, 9 – Polka Dot flatforms – Superga X House of Holland.
– It hasn’t been long that the Nasty Gal collection has landed, but the second I saw this on their Instagram account I actually let out a gasp and quickly went on their website to ooh and aah away!
– If you have a copy of Wish magazine, you’ll be familiar with the name Caitlin Shearer, who has the most wonderful talent of illustration, that has luckily been transferred on to all sorts of things! This gilded mirror case screams of an older time, of pretty women and gentleman-callers.
– Mint + boucle = perfection in a skirt, there’s nothing else I need to say. *sigh*
– Excuse the abuse of exclamation marks but, biscuits, on a dress. The cut of the dress is absolutely perfect too. Caitlin Shearer’s talent needs to be seen, and what better way than on a beautiful dress!
– My love affair with the colour red has been going on a while, but it’s only been since last autumn, when the word burgundy set my heart aflutter that I realised just how much I love red. And autumn’s back again! These UO shoes look comfortable, stylish and they’re shiny! Heavenly.
– Another winning combo, scallop + lace! Topshop does it again. The tea-stained look adds to the delicate nature of the fabric, and the cut and length is timeless in itself. If Audrey were not such a lover of the monochrome dressing, I’m sure this would have been in her wardrobe!
– Animal prints are great, but Vintage Style Me does it better when the animals it adds to its’ clothes are more than just faceless silhouettes adorning a scarf or a dress etc. These prints are super cute & super cheap!
– Red again! A statement bag goes a long way, and something like this really would be a staple accessory for the next few months and years. My initials in gold, DK would sit perfectly too, I think!
– I’ve not bought into the flatform trend at all, until I saw my friend Carrie of WishWishWish in a beautiful scalloped pair from YesStyle and again when I saw these. If shoes had feelings these would be the happiest pair, I just wish the price tag made me happy too!
Amazing list! That biscuit dress is utterly cool! Thanks for including our pooch tee, we heart animals! (maybe too much?!)
