Brick Lane

Burgers and vintage are the two words I’d use to sum up my day in London with Carrie on Saturday. Starting off at The Diner, my first time there, we both ordered the cheese fries, something I’ve never seen available in a restaurant before! They really were the cheesiest things ever – which is a massive compliment in my books; the cheesier the better! We then wandered over to Spitalfields market and Brick lane, with the intention of perusing the American Apparel factory outlet at the Truman Brewery. It took us a while to get there, mainly because there were far too many pretty vintage shops along the way, such as Blondie where Carrie and I both fell for pretty much the same pair of shoes but in different sizes. Luckily the not-so-cheap-but-pretty shop made us think sensibly, and we didn’t part with our money (this time…).

Luck would have it that nearby were a cluster of pretty coloured doors, one matching my new favourite dress from Sugarhill Boutique! It seemed more obligatory than anything to snap photos there. I think it shows the beautifully rich colour of the dress in all its’ glory. The creams and browns make it possible to accessorise with light colours, such as cream tights instead of the usual black. You’ll also see a shot of Carrie’s shoes below (again!), but it seems that I can’t not snap a photo every time; she wears the prettiest things! xx

P.S I mentioned it in my last post, but I’ve got a Formspring account for any questions! There’s been a few already and it’s really lovely that people are genuinely interested in asking me things, I don’t know how I’ll get used to that!

Thank you to Carrie for taking my pictures! x
