It isn’t very often you’ll see me in a pair of cropped, wide-leg, pyjama-style pants; in fact, this is probably the first pair that I own! I pushed myself out of my comfort zone with this matching set, which doesn’t feel too over-the-top with a fitted black jumper and black shoes. Plus – and this is a big plus – the material is super soft, so much so that it really felt like I was walking around in my pyjamas! If you’re wondering why on earth you can spot a bit of ‘Celia Birtwell’ on each of us bloggers, it’s because the wonderful Celia Birtwell has collaborated with UNIQLO for a (very affordable) print-alicious collection of trousers, shirts, dresses, vests, scarves (you name it, she’s put a print on it!) launching on Thursday 21st March.
There’s also a competition running alongside this collaboration, if you fancy your chances! All you have to do is take a photo wearing something from the new UNIQLO & Celia Birtwell range and upload it on to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #styledincelia (if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you’ll have spotted that hashtag along with a couple photos of myself!). The winning prize is an exclusive signed Celia Birtwell print, and there are five runner up prizes consisting of a signed Celia Birtwell book by Celia Birtwell with Dominic Lutyens (published by Quadrille). I’d love to see your photos, so please tweet me if you do, you’ve got until April 18th, plenty of time to get snapping, good luck!
And if you’re in and around London, us girls will be at the launch event this coming Thursday, so if you can, please come and say hello! x
Trousers – UNIQLO X Celia Birtwell, Leather Jacket – NastyGal (old), Jumper – Primark, Shoes – ASOS (similar), Lipstick – MAC ‘So Chaud’
