Recently I’ve preferred to dress in a dress than a two-piece outfit, I think the cold makes me lazy and putting on one item of clothing makes deliberating about what matches it far easier! This MinkPink dress was very kindly gifted to me by my friend Carrie on my 21st birthday this year, and I’ve only just recently made the most of it’s beautiful skater skirt and spot mesh sleeves. I always prefer dresses with sleeves, and sometimes think that the same dress without sleeves would look nowhere near as good! If you’ve recognised the velvet bow in my hair, you’ll realise that I seem to be wearing this collar bow tie in every single way except the way it was intended – on a shirt – and I kindof think it makes a very nice oversized hair tie!
These photos were taken in a hidden little ‘secret garden’ just at the end of Preston Park; the entrance doors are small and arched which made it feel more like an elves’ den.. but I probably only thought that as I’m just starting to feel a little Christmassy! Plus it’s quite nice to imagine elves resting here in between their present-wrapping shifts..! (anyone else watching Elf?!) xx
