Brrr, it’s cold! Just as I mentioned in my last post on the inevitability of wearing tights, here it is! At least it’s October now and I don’t feel so bad about saying it’s tights weather. Daryl came down to visit over the weekend and luckily the rain stayed away (until the morning of his departure, when it felt a lot like pathetic fallacy, booo) so we took a wander up a fairly steep road, after which my “messy bun” looked a lot more effortless than I was aiming for….
As well as it turning into tights weather, it’s also been wear-your-most-waterproof-everything weather too, and unfortunately I don’t own enough waterproof to have got through these past few days without getting soaked. Not to worry, being in only two days at uni and generally having a closer affinity with my bed/room, I’ve not needed to leave the house too much ; ) It also means I’ve got into the habit of making the most of dressing like a schoolgirl to compensate for the fact that this is my final year at university. With items like this ASOS scalloped collar shirt around though, it’s very hard not to channel schoolgirl whimsy into any outfit!
